Recover your username

If you forgot your username, you can retrieve it by answering a few questions.

Make sure you have your ID card. You'll need your group or policy number and ID number to recover your username.

  1. Click on the Sign in button at the top of this page or go to members.ab.bluecross.ca.
  2. Select the Forgot your username? link.
  3. Enter your last name, group or policy number, ID number and birth date.
    You can click on the to reveal more information about each field.
  4. You can choose to receive a verification code or answer your security questions.
  5. If you choose a verification code

    Select this option and click Next. Keep this browser window open. Go to the email address linked to your account. Once you receive the code, enter it.

    If you choose security questions

    Select this option and click Next. You'll be prompted to answer your security question. If you answer it incorrectly, we'll show another question.

    If you answer all your security questions incorrectly, we'll send you a verification code to the email address linked to your member account.

    Once you enter the information successfully, we'll reveal your username.
