Price Change Submissions

Fixed Price Product Price Change Submissions

The pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA) has introduced a centralized price change process. Price change submissions must be made directly to the pCPA. The price increase submission deadline is December 31. Price decrease requests are considered throughout the year.

Acceptance of a price change is at the discretion of the Minister of Health and will be followed by issuance of an Alberta Price Confirmation (APC). Accepted price increases in Alberta will be effective April 1 of the following year.
